New Redmi AirDots 3: very cheap TWS headphones

The Redmi K40 are not the only novelty that the brand has left us, because they have also presented their Redmi AirDots 3, which we hope will also reach Spain at some point. This is the new generation of the brand’s wireless headphones, the second generation of which was made official last July.

These new Redmi AirDots 3 maintain an identical design that of the previous generation presented in July, again betting on several colors. Where we find a series of changes is in its functions, with a series of improvements in them, although maintaining an adjusted price.

Xiaomi has launched some very cheap new TWS headphones under its Redmi brand. They are the Xiaomi Redmi Airdots 2 headphones, with better sound and the same price.

Redmi AirDots 3: great autonomy and improved sound

The Redmi AirDots 3 use a QCC3040 processor and have Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, which will give a higher connection speed, as well as greater stability when using these headphones. An aptX Adaptive code has also been used, to improve the sound quality in these headphones from the Chinese manufacturer, in addition to having 10 mm drivers.

Regarding autonomy they do not disappoint, with up to 7 hours of playback of non-stop music on a single charge. The autonomy extends up to 30 hours if we add it to the case, which has a good 600 mAh battery. They are presented as one of the TWS headphones with greater autonomy on the market.

The headphones already come with an integrated voice assistant, Xiaomi’s assistant called XiaoAI. In addition, they are compatible with control gestures, to be able to perform actions such as changing songs by touching the headset. They are IPX7 certified, which certifies their resistance to water, allowing us to use them when doing sports, also outdoors.

The Redmi AirDots 3 have reduction of ambient noise, a technology designed to better listen to your calls with them, by reducing the noise in the place where you are. It won’t cancel out the noise, but it does help at times.

Price and availability

These new Redmi AirDots 3 have already been announced in China, where they will go on sale on March 4 officially. For now nothing is known about its possible international launch. The headphones are released in white, black and pink colors. The selling price in China is 199 yuan, about 25 euros to change.
