New realme Watch S Pro: raising the bar in construction and health 1

realme is one of the brands that has grown the most in Spain, and part of this success is due to the exceptional relationship between quality and price of some of its models. Beyond mobiles, the company wants to take advantage of the pull and good name of its brand to launch new products, such as the realme Watch S Pro.

This is the third smartwatch to launch, being the best of the three but perhaps also the most difficult to recommend. And why could that be? We explain it to you.

New realme Watch S Pro: the most advanced of the company

realme has just presented its most advanced watch in India. Its name is Realme Watch S Pro and it comes to raise the bar in build quality and health sensors compared to its younger brother.

It is a watch that leaves aside the aluminum to integrate a stainless steel chassis, a resistant and durable material (it will be necessary to see if that durability is worth it in the software updates). We also have an AMOLED panel, solving the weakest point of the previous model in terms of hardware.

At the health and sports level, the realme Watch S Pro includes dual GPS and 5 atmospheres water resistance with the ability to record swimming, among 14 other sports. We also have a heart rate and blood oxygen sensor, one of the features that has been reaching more watches lately.

The Realme Watch S Pro has been presented in India at a price of 9,999 rupees, about 111 euros at the exchange rate. If we consider that it costs twice as much in India as the Realme Watch S (which in Spain costs 80 euros) we could estimate that this watch would end up reaching around 130-160 euros.

New realme Watch S Pro: raising the bar in construction and health 4The realme Watch S already left us with a terrible feeling in the lack of attention to translations, something difficult to forgive as prices rise.

At the design and specification level it is fine, but the experience that the realme software left us was far from competent. When the watch is very cheap, it does not seem very important, but as we raise the price and have more competitive options available, it loses points compared to alternatives such as Huawei, Amazfit or even Samsung, depending on the price at which it arrives in Spain.

The entry New realme Watch S Pro: raising the bar in construction and health appears first in The Free Android.
