New realme C17: betting hard on price and memory

Realme is one of those companies that is clearly fighting to project an image of an economic firm. It offers some products that are more than recommended for what they cost, like the realme C11 we reviewed a few weeks ago.

Now the company has launched a new model of the same family, albeit with improved specifications, the realme C17. It has such a good value for money that we hope that it will be able to be bought in Spain.

90 Hz reaches the low range

One of the trends that have been seen the most in recent months in new mobile launches has been to increase the refresh rate of the screens. Thanks to this, the fluidity of the contents has improved remarkably, although until recently these changes were restricted to the high and medium-high range.

For a few weeks we have started to see cheap mobiles, with very normal screens, bet on that. This is the case of the realme C17, which has a diagonal of 6.4 inches with an HD + resolution and which, nevertheless, boasts a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

The processor of this model is Qualcomm’s simplest, the Snapdragon 460. But where it shines is in the memory, with no less than 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, not bad for a low-end mobile.

The front camera is 8 Mpx and behind we have four, a 48 Mpx main one, an 8 Mpx wide angle and the two 2 Mpx sensors that have become so fashionable, a macro and a depth sensor.

Its battery is 5000 mAh, with fast charging of 18 W, so we would have to have a great autonomy.

Price and availability

In Bangladesh, which is where this mobile has been announced, the price is about 160 euros To the change. Hopefully it reaches the European markets.
