New OnePlus 8T: good features and a great price

At the end of September it was confirmed and today it has happened: the OnePlus 8T has been unveiled officially today October 14. This phone is the brand’s new high-end model, which comes about three months after the brand launched the OnePlus Nord in Spain, its return to the mid-range.

The OnePlus 8T arrives only this time, the brand confirmed that this year there is no Pro model. OnePlus leaves us with a powerful phone, with specifications that meet everything we seek in the high-end range. In addition, it is the first device of the company to make use of its new 65W fast charge.

A great processor and better fast charging

After launching the OnePlus Nord a few months ago, the Chinese company returns to the high-end with this new OnePlus 8T. The phone makes use of Snapdragon 865 as a processor, which gives it great power, moderate power consumption, as well as 5G connectivity. Along with this processor we have two combinations of RAM and storage (8/128 and 12/256 GB).

The device’s battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh, with support for the new 65W fast charge from the firm, Warp Charge. Thanks to it, the battery is fully charged in just 39 minutes. The phone is equipped with 12 temperature sensors, along with an additional encryption chip in the adapter and on the cable. Thanks to them, it will be possible to keep the temperature of the charging processes at a good level while operating at a maximum power of 65W.

The phone screen is 6.55 inches, with perforation in it and has with a Full HD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, as has been rumored these weeks.

In combination with the processor, this phone is presented as an ideal option for gaming, since it will give us a fluid gaming experience. Oxygen OS 11 based on Android 11 is the interface on the OnePlus 8T. Some of the functions that were filtered this summer, designed to give a better performance on the phone, make an appearance in it.

The cameras are another of the strengths in this OnePlus 8T, which has four sensors on its rear. We find a 48 Mpx main sensor, along with a 16 Mpx wide-angle with a 123-degree angle of view, a 5 Mpx macro sensor and a 2 Mpx black and white sensor.

A balanced combination with which to capture great images. On the front of the phone we find a single sensor, located in its hole, which is a 16 Mpx camera.

Price and availability

Several weeks ago the price of this OnePlus 8T was leaked, warning that this new high-end of the Chinese manufacturer was not going to be cheap. Luckily, today we already have all the data on the price and the launch date of this phone in Spain.
