New Nokia C1 Plus: an extremely cheap and simple mobile

This is possibly the month of December with the most mobile launches since smartphones changed the world as we knew it. Normally, the end of the year is the prelude to the February launches, but in 2020 we have seen how many brands want to hurry before welcoming 2021.

The last to do so is Nokia, which has presented a mobile entry, the Nokia C1 Plus, a variant of the Nokia C1 from 2019.

This model has a successful name since although it arrives a year after the Nokia C1, it improves it in connectivity by including 4G since the 2019 terminal was only 3G.

In addition, the screen maintains the diagonal and technology, but increases the resolution to a basic but acceptable 720p.

Both the front and rear cameras are 5 Mpx, and the design does not include perforations or notch-shaped cutouts.

The processor goes up some laps, reaching 1.4 GHz in each of its four cores, and the GB of RAM and 16 GB of memory are maintained. It also uses the same battery, 2500 mAh with a 5W load.

The Android version is 10, but in the GO variant, something Nokia usually does on its most basic mobiles.

Price and availability

The Nokia C1 Plus will go on sale in Europe in December for 69 euros, a very low cost but still very close to more complete models that are sold for something more, even without reaching 100 euros.

The entry New Nokia C1 Plus: an extremely cheap and simple mobile appears first in The Free Android.
