Motorola presented several mobiles in January, such as the Moto Edge S, which we are still waiting to be launched in Spain. The brand has made official today a new phone within its more modest range: the Moto E6i. We find a very simple phone, in the most economical range of the brand, that uses Android Go as its operating system.
This new Moto E6i is a kind of successor to the Moto E6s that the brand presented last year. It maintains a similar design, as well as its specifications and with a very adjusted price, as is to be expected in this segment of phones with Android Go.
Moto E6 Plus review: the latest with removable batteryThe Motorola Moto E6 Plus is a cheap and very basic mobile that stands out for being one of the almost only smartphones with a removable battery.
The Moto E6i follows the line marked by the models launched last year. In terms of design it is similar to others like the E6s, with a 6.1 inch size LCD screen with a notch in the shape of a drop of water in it and a large bottom frame. This screen has an HD resolution.
Android 10 Go Edition is the operating system used in this device. One of the surprises is the processor, because it does not use a low-end Snapdragon as in other Motorola models, but a UNISOC Tiger SC9863A has been used. Alongside the processor is a unique combination of RAM and storage and a 3,000 mAh capacity battery.
The Moto E6i is also simple when it comes to cameras, with a double rear sensor: 13 Mpx and a 2 Mpx depth sensor, and a 5 Mpx front camera. Despite being a phone in the manufacturer’s more modest range, it has a fingerprint sensor on its back.
This new Motorola Moto E6i has already been officially presented in Brazil, a country that normally receives the brand’s phones first. It is released in a unique version of RAM and storage, available in gray and pink colors. At the moment nothing is known about its launch in Spain.
This device is launched with a price of 1,099 reais, which is about 170 euros to change, a price that is excessive considering its specifications.
The entry New Moto E6i: a simple Motorola with Android Go appears first in The Free Android.
