When Xiaomi announced MIUI 12 it introduced many new features among which was a new type of animated wallpaper that zoomed between the lock screen and desktops.
This function was integrated in MIUI 12 but it was not long until someone discovered how to use it in other terminals that were not from the same company.
Now a developer has managed to compile two new funds of this type and has packaged them in APK files that we can install on other mobiles.
New MIUI 12 live wallpapers
Specifically, there are four new backgrounds that we can install through an APK and then select to set as wallpaper. In the event that the wallpaper selector does not work we can install the Google one, which should leave us without problems.

Of course, this type of funds only works with mobiles that use Qualcomm processors, so if we have a smartphone with a Mediatek chipset or a Kirin we will not be able to use it. They also won’t work on Samsung mobiles that use Exynos processors. The reason is that OpenGL, the technology used by the applications that we will download. In addition, the better the processor of our mobile, the better the animation will respond.
To download the four wallpapers we have to install the corresponding APK that you have in this XDA Developers thread, where there is also access to the previews so that you can see what they are like before putting them on your mobile.
The entry New wallpapers of MIUI 12 arrive to mobiles of other brands appears first in The Free Android.
