Huawei’s range of P Smart phones It is one of its best known in the mid-range. A few months ago the brand officially launched the P Smart 2020 in Spain, which was a version with few changes from the previous model in that range. Now they leave us with their new model within this range: the Huawei P Smart 2021.

New screen, more cameras, same processor

The Huawei P Smart 2021 arrives with a new design for this range, since they move away from the notch and instead leave us with a perforated screen. The brand has opted for a 6.67-inch LCD panel, with a perforation, where its 8 Mpx front camera is located. The fingerprint sensor is located on the side this time.

In its rear we have four cameras, another of the improvements in this model. It uses a 48 Mpx main sensor, an 8 Mpx wide angle, a 2 Mpx macro sensor and a 2 Mpx depth sensor as well. It is a combination that we have seen a lot in the mid-range, but that finally reaches this range of Huawei as well.

Kirin 710A is the processor, without changes in this sense, with respect to previous models. Where we can see changes is in the battery of this Huawei P Smart 2021, which has a capacity of 5,000 mAh, larger than its predecessors. The battery also supports 22.5W fast charging. The phone uses Android 10 with EMUI 10.1, although without Google services, as is already usual in devices of the brand.

Price and availability

This new Huawei P Smart 2021 is launched in some markets in Europe, such as Austria, Croatia or Slovenia. Although for now it is not known if it will be launched or not in Spain, but in a few weeks more will be known about the brand’s plans in this regard. The phone comes in a single version of RAM and storage.

It is put on sale at a price of 229 euros, in three different colors to choose from: blue, black and pink.
