New Huawei Mate 30E Pro: now with a new processor

Yesterday the new high-end Huawei was officially presented, with the Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro Plus, the second of which will soon arrive in Spain. These three phones are not the only novelty that the manufacturer leaves us, since with hardly any noise, they have presented a new phone in their country: the Huawei Mate 30E Pro.

Its name already makes us suspect that this model will be identical to last year’s high-end, and this is partly true. The Huawei Mate 30E Pro is like last year’s device, with the only difference being that they have left us with a new processor this time, for better performance.

The same phone with a renewed processor

There are two differences between this Huawei Mate 30E Pro and last year’s Mate 30 Pro. The processor is the first change, since this new model makes use of the Kirin 990E, which is identical to last year’s processor, although it leaves us with some changes in GPU and NPU. Since this new processor has a 16-core GPU and an NPU with a BIG + micro core.

The other difference is found in the software, because the new phone makes use of EMUI 11 based on Android 10, the new version of its interface presented in August. So it is expected that the phone will be able to enjoy the news that was made official in this version of the interface.

In the rest there are no differences between this Huawei Mate 30E Pro and last year’s high-end, which already stood out in photography and design. The design remains unchanged in this case, it even launches in the same colors as last year’s phone, as well as arriving with the same cameras we saw last year.

Price and availability

This New Huawei Mate 30E Pro can be reserved already in China, available in the colors black, silver, purple, green, as well as the two vegan leather options we saw last year. It will go on sale on November 1 officially, although at the moment the price that it will have is unknown. It is also not known if the brand has plans to launch this phone in Spain.
