New Galaxy A12 and A02s: a lot of battery for the simplest Samsung

Samsung has just made two new phones official in its entry range, which will arrive in Spain in a few months. It is about the Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s, two models in the range of the Galaxy A. The first of them is the successor of the Galaxy A11, a model that became official at the beginning of this year.

Both are phones within the input range, that stand out for their large capacity batteries. Samsung thus reinforces its most economical range for 2021 with these new Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s, of which they have already revealed their full specifications.

Two modest models with big battery

Samsung leaves us with

two phones within its entry range, modest, but compliant. Both share a front design, with a 6.5-inch screen, with HD + resolution and a notch in the shape of a drop of water. A classic design, but one that still works well in these more modest segments.

Both the Galaxy A12 and the Galaxy A02s use a 5,000 mAh capacity battery, which will provide good autonomy. In both cases there is support for fast charging of 15W. Nothing is known about the processor that both models will use, Samsung has not mentioned it in its announcement, although surely some chip from the Snapdragon 400 range.

The cameras are different between both models. The Galaxy A12 comes with a quad rear camera, with a 48 Mpx main sensor, a 5 Mpx wide angle, a 2 Mpx macro sensor and one for depth measurements of 2 Mpx as well. In the case of the Galaxy A02s, we have three on its back: 13 Mpx main sensor and the same 2 Mpx macro and depth sensors of the other model.

Price and availability

 

The Galaxy A12 will go on sale in January 2021, as confirmed by Samsung, with prices that they start from 179 euros, although the prices of each version of this model have not been specified. It will arrive in black, blue and white colors in stores.

The Galaxy A02s is priced at 150 euros and we will have to wait until February 2021 to buy it. This phone is launched in black and white colors to stores.
