Although watch manufacturers have faced stiff competition from mobile phone manufacturers, there are still many who prefer a more classic brand.
That is why many of these brands have made their first steps in the smartwatch sector. One of them is Casio, who today introduced the new Casio G-SQUAD PRO GSW-H1000, the first member of the G-Shock family with WearOS.
I had almost already introduced some watches with Google’s operating system, but none were from the G-Shock family, which was designed for extreme sports.
In this case we have a watch with a finish that denotes resistance on all four sides.
It has a double screen, a color 320 x 320 px and LCD technology and a black and white that allows increasing its autonomy from 1.5 days with Wear OS to 30 days using the buttons and the black and white screen.
Of course, resistance is key and for this it has been built using a titanium back and a crown that supports a pressure of 20 bars, so we can submerge it up to 200 meters deep.
It has GPS and detection of multiple sports, as well as altimeter, barometer and we can even use the smart functions like any watch with Wear OS.
This Casio GSW-H1000 will go on sale in the UK for 599 pounds and in the United States for 700 dollars. We know that it will arrive in Spain but we still do not have a confirmed date or price.
The entry New Casio G-SQUAD PRO GSW-H1000: the first G-Shock with WearOS appears first in The Free Android.
