In September the manufacturer of watches and smart devices Amazfit announced its new devices, the Amazfit GTS 2 and GTR 2. These two devices, which we are already testing, were the brand’s central proposal for 2020 in Spain and other markets.
However, they would not be the only devices that he was going to launch. Some were focused on an audience that was looking for something cheaper, for which they created the Amazfit Bip U, and others have been designed for those who wanted something smaller and more stylish. For them comes the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini.

More compact but with more autonomy
This watch is a smaller version of the Amazfit GTS 2 that reduces the resolution of the screen and its diagonal to, with less battery, significantly increase the battery.
Like the previous model, we can track sleep, measure our pulse, blood oxygen saturation or play sports by measuring our performance.
Like all these watches, it has water resistance, in this case 5 ATM. Its battery is charged by a magnetic base and according to the manufacturer gives us autonomy for two weeks, something remarkable given that it has an active screen, which is always on.
It has a microphone to use the smart voice assistant, although the presence of a speaker is not mentioned, so calls could not be made. We assume that if it reaches the West it will do so with Alexa like the rest of the brand’s watches.
As in other models with the Amazfit OS operating system, we can control music playback, silence calls or take photos from the clock. Also, the Chinese model has NFC, but this is not something we have seen on European models.
Price and availability
The Amazfit GTS 2 Mini It arrives in China at a price of 699 yuan, about 90 euros at the exchange rate, and we hope it will also arrive in Spain.
