At the international presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 11, the Chinese company has also announced the launch of MIUI 12.5 in its international version. We already knew this version from the presentation in its native country of this flagship, but now we know when many models will be updated.
In the presentation, Xiaomi highlighted the 22% improvement in the performance of the mobile when using the system apps and the 15% decrease in energy consumption when using this type of app.
But the best thing is that they have announced that will allow you to uninstall most of the system apps, with a few exceptions such as the Settings app, Messages, Camera, Phone, Clock, Gallery and Security, all of them logical.
Also, the new way of manage gestures it will allow their fluidity to be much greater, something that is sometimes lacking even at the top of the range.
The first update dates have also been given. The first wave of MIUI 12.5 will arrive at Mi 10, 10 Pro, Mi 10T, 10T Pro and Mi 11
in the second quarter of 2021, that is, between April and June.

At the moment there are no specific dates for them, but we do know that they will be updated in the second half of the year. And they will not be the only ones since, as we see in the same image, we will also have MIUi 12.5 in other models, although their names have not yet been given.
