What’s new in hardware and in software that promise major improvements. And concerning this last paragraph, has been to Panos Panay, head of Windows at Microsoft, in charge of showing some of the changes that will receive Windows 10 in the design. Modifications in the interface that we can see through a video in the they move some of the features and changes most prominent.

A new interface

By means of a video, Panos Panay, has shown some of the changes that will receive Windows 10, and has done so in its account Isntagram. It is the case of the new Live Tiles, a file Browser and different context menus, with which the company seeks to rally the interface and give a touch more uniform.

Icons Copy

We’ll see new icons, already submitted some days ago, icons that slowly are coming to more services and tools from Microsoft. It is the case of e-Mail and Calendar, Calculator, Photos, Movies and TV, Voice Recorder, Office…

Menus Copy

It also highlights a start menu with Live Tiles updated. Now these are direct accesses to the information are more muted, less colorful, so it fits better into the overall aesthetic of Windows 10. Continue to ofrecuendo relevant information but slightly changing the way of showing it.

Menus
Accessible Copy

The context menus now provide more informationoffering more options to the user. Key to this is the adaptation to the application you are using. In this sense, improving accessibility, making it possible to change the spacing of the typography or other accessibility options.

Browser

In comes a new “file Explorer”and even though it appears so fleeting, can be one of the most exciting developments since it is one of the functions that has evolved over the years.

At this point what it is not known is when Microsoft will decide to implement these changes. Microsoft has, as we mentioned at the beginning, many open fronts and Windows is not now the main claim of a company, it is also cross-platform with other tools and applications, and who have their hopes fixed on the cloud and all connected devices thanks to Azure.
