Microsoft releases new updates for Windows 10 21H1, 20H2 and 2004: improvements in subtitles, in the lock screen and more

Updates come through the builds 19044.1320, 19043.1320, 19042.1320, and 19041.1320 for versions 21H1, 20H2 and 2004 of Windows 10. Some Builds that are associated with the patch KB5006738 and that they focus on improving the use of subtitles, correcting problems with the wallpaper, improving the use between browsers and more changes that we now review.

Known issues

  • Devices with Windows installations created from offline media Custom or custom ISO image may have Microsoft Edge Legacy removed by this update, but not automatically replaced by the new Microsoft Edge. This issue is only encountered when creating custom offline media or ISO images by embedding this update in the image without first installing the Independent Servicing Stack (SSU) update released on March 29, 2021 or later.
