Microsoft adds to Edge a new access in the menu that allows you to save a web page in PDF format

Microsoft is testing a new feature within its browser, Edge, on the Canary Channel. It is a new option within the contextual menu that allows you to save a web page in Pdf format without having to use the “Print” option as we have been doing so far.

In this way you can save a web page as PDF in Microsoft Edge thanks to a new section that save a few mouse taps in the process. A feature that can already be accessed by a limited number of users on Edge 95.

Save As Pdf Context Menu Option In Microsoft Edge 95

Microsoft has added the field “Save as PDF” in the context menu in Edge 95, an option that appears next to the already known “Save as”. In this way it is not necessary to enter “To print” and choose the option “Print as PDF” to have the web saved in that format.

In this way Microsoft Edge offers two options with which the same is achieved and which are “Save as PDF” and “Print”.

Save Print

To save a web page as a PDF document in Microsoft Edge, just choose the page we want to save, right-click or use the key combination “Ctrl + S” and select “Save as PDF” and click on “Keep”.

{“videoId”: “x801ax7”, “autoplay”: true, “title”: “9 FREE PDF READERS_ EDIT, CONVERT AND ADD PDF files with THESE PROGRAMS”}

Equally the option to print a web page in PDF format is still present and in this case you just have to enter the context menu, select “Print” (or “Ctrl + P”) and click “Save as PDF”.

To print

The difference between using “Save as PDF” and “Print” is that in the latter case, Edge generates the page as a PDF without links, while in the first one, all the links on the web page appear.

In my case, I just tried and still the new option does not appear in Edge Canary in the latest version neither on Windows nor on macOS.
