The headaches caused by limitations imposed When installing Windows 11 they are causing users and developers to choose different options with which border these limits. The latest proposal comes through MediaCreationTool.bat, a script that facilitates the download of ISO images Windows from Microsoft servers.
The developer of MediaCreationTool.bat has updated the tool so that it now allows downloading of Windows 11 ISO images as well and even skip compatibility checks that perform the system when installing the new operating system.
Any Windows ISO within reach
MediaCreationTool.bat is an open source development that can be found at Github. Now, in the latest version, the developer has added the ability to download Windows 11 ISO images and skip the system checks to determine if we can install Windows 11. This adds to the capabilities to download the different Windows 10 ISOs, including the most recent ones.
The latest version includes support for downloading a Windows 11 ISO image from Microsoft and even allows you to copy the operating system to a USB drive or create an ISO image that can be burned to DVD. To download and use the script these are the steps you must carry out, although we must bear in mind that the antivirus can jump to the beginning of the process:
- Access the project’s Github site on this link.
- Click on the Download Zip button (this is the link) that appears in the upper right area of the screen to download the file to your local system.
- Extract the ZIP file once it has been downloaded.
- Right-click on the MediaCreationTool.bat script file and select “Execute as an administrator” in the context menu.
- MediaCreationTool it will then show all the versions that can be downloaded and we select a version from the list.

- We will see several options.
- Auto Setup. Automatic configuration option to update directly without prompts, with smart backup / edit switching
- Create ISO for creating iso files directly via the DIR2ISO code snippet, including any ‘oem’ customizations
- Create USB for USB authoring via native MCT, including ‘oem’ customizations (prompted once)
- Select in MCT. Select in MCT ** option for ‘oem’ unmodified processing [..]
The extracted file includes another file that may be useful to some users. The Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update.cmd command file configures the system to skip the verification that determines if we have TPM chip during Windows 11 setup.
