LineageOS is still very much alive. Its developers have just published in his blog the long-awaited revamped version, based on Android 10. This renewal has taken them longer than expected due to a large amount of changes within AOSP, but some seven months after the official release, LineageOS 17.1 reaches about 52 devices. This version replaces LineageOS 17 we met a few months ago, and whose builds were not official.
As on previous occasions, LineageOS brings the latest version of Android to terminals of many years ago, as the HTC One 2014 or LG G2, 2016. The new version brings a good amount of news and changes under the arm, in addition to own introduced in version 10 of the Android.
LineageOS 17.1 is the first official version based on Android 10, that as in previous occasions, will bring many new features recent to old terminals. In addition to the latest Android, the ROM includes a good amount of own innovations:

More customization options in the application of Themes of AOSP.
You can customize the font type, the shape of the icons and the style of the buttons in the quick settings.
You can hide applications from the launcher Trebuchet using biometrics.
Include security patches up to march 2020.
Working again relay to the screen by Wifi.
Support for sensors of fingerprints on the screen.
Support for front-facing cameras, motorized or rotating.
Added more languages: australian English, Lithuanian, Latvian, German, Romanian, slovenian, Turkish, and Serbian.
Emojis 12.0 added to the keyboard for AOSP.
Updated WebView to Chromium 80.0.3987.132.
Lineage Recovery is the standard way of installing LineageOS.
To get the list of compatible mobile devices, it is recommended that you go to the download page official LineageOSbecause the list can change at any time. To day of today, include some 52 modelsthe great majority of them old, although there are some relatively recent ones like the ASUS Zenfone 6 or the Little F1.
