LG takes the interface and functions of the LG Velvet to several of their phones

The LG Velvet is the new flagship within the catalog of the brand. This phone marks a change in direction for the brand, with a new design and even a new interface with different functions. A device that we can already buy in Spain officially, and that has all the ingredients to be a success in the market.

The interface of the phone and some of its functions have been liked amongst the users. For this reason, the brand it’s going to launch now the interface and functions of the LG Velvet in several of their high-end phones. An update that begins in South Korea, but it could reach more countries.

The LG Velvet is one of the last premium mobile to reach the market, a large stake of the south Korean company in the design and technology.

Features of the LG Velvet for the other models

In fact, the update for these models assumes that the interface happens now to be called the Velvet UI. This interface includes functions such as volume settings further, you can customize the color of the notification bar, and manage call notifications, among many others. More brand phones will be able to have access to them.

Since there are six phones of the brand, all of them in your high range, which get this interface and functions of the LG Velvet. It is the following: LG V50 ThinQ, LG V50S ThinQ, LG V40 ThinQ, LG V35 ThinQ, LG G8 ThinQ, and LG G7 ThinQ. In addition, it is noteworthy that there are some models that have already a couple of years, so that the brand keeps it up to date.

This update introduces changes to the interfacewith new appearance and functions, although operating system does not change anything for these phones. In the case of the LG V50 ThinQ, the update has begun to deploy now, while that will be coming soon to the rest of the models mentioned above, while there have been no dates for the moment. It is a matter of waiting to be released soon.

For now it seems that such an update to Velvet UI, the interface of the LG Velvet, is limited to South Korea. LG has not said anything yet about the availability of this update out of the country, so we will wait for more news on the part of the brand.
