LG K42: a new low-end Android with a new design

LG has shown several times that not only is it not going to give up in the smartphone sector, but that it is clearly committed to innovation. We have seen this with the LG Wing.

But although we really want to see that mobile in Spain, the reality is that in our country, as in many others, users are looking for simpler and cheaper mobiles, such as LG K42.

A low-end with better, or at least more, cameras

With the LG Q31 the company showed us what it wanted for the low-end. In this model it has used the same processor, the Helio P22, but has improved the design and memory, going up to 3 and 64 GB in RAM and storage respectively.

There are also changes in the cameras, with a front one housed in a perforation in the screen and the rear ones, with a 13 Mpx main sensor, an 8 Mpx wide angle and two 2 Mpx sensors, the macro and the depth that we see already on almost all mobiles.

The screen is 6.6 inches with HD + resolution and the fingerprint sensor appears on the side.

The battery is 4300 mAh and it has not been mentioned if it has fast charging. What we do have is a physical button to use the Google assistant, MIL-STD-810G military certification and USB C port.
