If you are aware of Black friday you sure have heard of Keepa. The version of the web tool that allows us to track the price of all that product that interests us on Amazon and also that let us know if you reach the desired price.
Keepa is available as an application to the Google Play Store. A simple to use application, without complications, that offers what it promises. We are not going to find a nice interface and we will come across pure and hard data, but we do not need more to buy more insurance of the prices that we are going to pay.
All prices in one click
Keepa allows recreate a price history for an Amazon item In order to know if it has really dropped in price compared to how it was a few months ago and exactly how much the price has dropped. Something really useful so that you do not fall for misleading offers.
Once we install Keepa we can register to have a synchronized follow-up of all the products that interest us. We can also enter without registering, in which case we will not have our wanted products synchronized on different devices in which we use Keepa.
In the “Settings” that we can find in the menu of the three horizontal lines, we can establish the origin of the Amazon in which we are going to search (I have put Spain) and the type of product (new is second hand …), the type of offer. … It’s about narrowing down our searches.
As soon as we press “Search” Inside the side panel, we will access a search engine in which to locate what we are looking for. At that point we can also choose the store in which to search and mark the price at which we want to find it. In the lower area, a shortcut with a “bell and a + symbol” allows you to add it to the history so that Keepa can do its job. If in a moment we want to eliminate it, we will only have to click on the button with the “bell and trash can”.
Keepa offers access to a graphical summary in which the evolution of prices can be appreciated, but also to detailed information on the product and a list with an entire history of prices based on different metrics used.
The tools in the app version are essentially the same as the ones we saw in the web version with extensions for Chrome and Firefox.
