In early 2019, Vivo launched its sub-brand IQOO focused on the world of gaming. In March of that year his first phone and since then many more models have followed. The last, the IQOO 7It belonged to their highest range and was announced a couple of months ago.
Now it has been his turn to renew its mid-high range And it has done so with the IQOO Neo 5, which, among other features, includes the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and support for fast charging of 66 W. Let’s see the rest of the features.

The first thing that stands out about the vivo iQOO Neo5 is its 6.62-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD + resolution, HDR10 + certification and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. In addition, it boasts a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 1,000 Hz touch sampling rate and a 91.45% use of the front.
Inside, along with the new Snapdragon 870 processor, we find two options for LPDDR4x RAM (8 and 12 GB) and another two for UFS 3.1 storage (128 and 256 GB). As an operating system, it comes with OriginOS based on Android 11, and to power itself, it has a 4400 mAh battery compatible with 66 W fast charging.
In the photographic section, we have a 16 megapixel front camera and a rear camera made up of: a 48 megapixel Sony IMX598 main sensor, a 13 megapixel wide angle and a 2 megapixel monochrome sensor.
And when it comes to connectivity, it offers 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and a USB-C port. Finally, it highlights its liquid cooling system for heat dissipation in case of overheating during gaming.
The iQOO Neo 5 has been announced for sale in China and there will go on sale on March 22, although it can be reserved from today. It is available in three different colors (Pixel Orange, Night Shadow Black and Cloud Shadow Blue) and in three memory-dependent configurations:
