The global pandemic caused by the COVID-19 has made the online shopping are exploding all over the world. We had already seen many signs that the purchases at a distance, began to eat the field of physical purchases, but this pandemic has accelerated the change.
And the big Internet giants are not oblivious to these trends. We saw as Google launched an application that came to be a copy of Tik Tok but focused on the online trading of sectors such as the make-up.
Now is Instagram which announces a change in its application. To the middle of last year it became official the possibility of purchase within the app, but without having an online store. That changes today.
Instagram already has a section for the online store
In a first phase to access the online shop from Instagram we will have to press in the tab Explore. On top of it, now we will have products that will vary according to the profile of each one.
There will also be new sections, as Collections or Brands.
What will make Instagram is to arrange each product in function of your searches, likes and dislikes, just the same as it does on the section to Explore with accounts, videos and photographs. Sure, if comparáis many profiles on Instagram different you will see that it is practically impossible for the sections to Explore look.
In a second phase there will be a new button at the bottom of the application interface that will take you directly to the store. In this decision we see that this change will be relevant to the company.
Already in the united States and soon in more countries
This modification of the interface of the app is coming to the united States and the users of this country in the next few days. In the rest of markets we will have to wait a more weeks but the company has already confirmed that this is a global launch, not something restricted to certain countries.
The entry Instagram launches online store: new section appears in the application first in Android Free.
