Four years ago the social network changed its icon for the one we know today. Now, on the occasion of this tenth anniversary, the possibility to change this Instagram icon on Android and iOS. It is a somewhat hidden option, which the application has entered within the settings. The steps to follow are:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Enter your profile.
  3. Click on the icon with the three horizontal stripes.
  4. Go into Settings.
  5. Slide the options section down, until the secret menu appears.
  6. Wait for confetti to appear.
  7. Choose the icon.

This map comes hand in hand with a calendar view with which you can see the publications of your stories on a certain date. Within the section of the stories archive you can see a list with all of them.

The application introduces three tabs: one with the stories, a calendar view, and the other is the location on that story map. The location will only take into account those publications in which a corresponding sticker has been inserted, where the location of that story is indicated.

In its settings we have various filters, with which to make comments that use certain words are not going to be shown in our account. Now, the social network will automatically hide comments similar to comments that have been reported in the past.

Also, more warnings will be displayed when a potentially offensive comment is to be posted. Since the notice will now tell you that posting a comment of this type can result in Instagram go delete your account. This change will be made official throughout today, just like the other two.
