Huawei would skip EMUI 11 on older phones and upgrade directly to Harmony OS

Since Huawei lost access to Google services, it has determined a new roadmap in which they never plan to depend on any company other than themselves. To do this, they have not only created their own mobile services, but currently have their own operating system for their entire ecosystem, which they have called Harmony OS.

Although initially Harmony OS will reach the most recent flagship models of the Chinese manufacturer, the company aims to update most of its mobile catalog, from the highest range to more affordable and older models. To ease the transition, these phones would not receive EMUI 11 and would jump directly to Harmony OS.
