New design and more autonomy

The Huawei Freebuds 4i is a more mature and polished version of Huawei’s wireless headphones. The headphones are still in-ear and of similar size and weight, albeit with a somewhat more streamlined design. In their small size they now mount a 55 mAh battery, instead of the 37 mAh of the previous generation.

This superior battery allows the car to reach the 10 hours of music playback or 7.5 hours, in case noise cancellation technology is used. For voice calls, the autonomy gives itself for 5.5 hours with noise cancellation or 6.5 hours, without it.

Headphones

As usual, the box doubles as an additional charger, including a additional 215 mAh battery. With a 10-minute charge in its box, the headphones can add up to about four hours of playtime. Charging the entire headset takes 1 hour in the box, while charging the box takes 90 minutes.

Like its predecessor, it features active noise cancellation, supported by a system of double microphones and with a design that, Huawei argues, improves the resistance of the headset to receiving wind noise

With a 10mm diaphragm and connectivity Bluetooth 5.2, the Huawei Freebuds 4i support gesture control, with a sensor that you are wearing and another in the box, to detect when it opens or closes. In this way, pairing them with the latest device is as easy as opening the box (without having to remove them from the box, as with other headphones).
