From here, any voice recognition (in more than 70 languages, by the way) will be transcribed to the app. This application has a degree of accuracy in the detection of words amazing and even lets you see in real time the volume ratio between the speaker’s voice and the background sound. When you have finished the dictation, you can save it for a maximum of 3 days before the app delete:

Do you have something wrong with this app? Well, yes: that the notes may not be organized properly, except for days. The only way if you’re going to, for example, to transcribe different classes or meetings on the same day, keep them organized, is to save each one of them such as are completed. Remember that once you’ve saved every transcript you will need to support much more permanent for you not to lose.

Google Recorder, the transcription of voice to text in the future

Android 10 in the streets since September, Google has started to release updates for their terminals Pixel. The one that most interests us for the purpose of this article is none other than Google Recorder, who transcribe and tag automatically to our records, organizes them, allows you to search by words or sounds, and even automatically recognizes.

Each category of sounds is identified by a color code, so that you can quickly identify what you are going to listen. Google Recorder identifies the category of the sound every 50 milliseconds, but, to not be constantly changing, Google has developed a filtering system that takes into account sound samples, longer to not be jumping from one category to another by mistake.

During the recording, the app identifies words using an algorithm machine learning, that runs on the phone itself. This means that you will not transmit any data to the Google servers, since the processor is able to contrast the sound with a dictionary local to interpret the words.

If you have a Google Pixel you’ll be able to enjoy it from already, and to do so is very easy. Just open it, click on the record button and swipe to the left tab Recording to become a Transcript:

For now, and until you pass a time at least, the app is only transcribed in English. Google has already announced that it will add more languages in the future. The truth is that with all the data out there about the role, the function of transcription of this new app has a great pint.
