How to Pair Two Google Home, Home Mini, or Nest Mini Speakers for Stereo Sound

When Google introduced the new Nest Mini announced that they could pair two speakers to enjoy stereo sound, a novelty that has also reached the speakers Google Home Y Google Home Mini.

This feature until now was only available for the Google Home Max, and was about to arrive at Christmas 2017 to the rest of the models but in the end we had to wait two years to be able pair two Google Home, Home Mini or Nest mini to listen to music in stereo. We tell you how to do it.

Create a pair of speakers

First of all what we need are two speakers of the Google Home / Nest family, and that they are In the same room, side by side to make right speaker and of left speaker.

Once the speakers are located, we just have to follow these steps:

1. Open the app Google Home.
2. Press on one of the two speakers.
3. Tap on setting
4. Enter the new option Pair of speakers.

There we can set up the speaker pair. First of all it will ask us select the two speakers we want to link for a stereo sound. Second, it will ask us assign a right and a left speakerTo do this, it will ask us in which position is the speaker that is flashing.

In the following steps it will ask us for the house, the room and the name of the pair of speakers. By completing these simple steps we can listen to music on that pair of speakers as if it were a single stereo speaker.

Split Pair of Speakers

If we want to listen to the music in each of the speakers, what we have to do is divide that pair of speakers. For this we have to go to the Setting of that pair of speakers, and once there, click on the option Split Pair of Speakers. The two speakers will return to their old name and in the rooms they were originally assigned to.
