What is GravityBox
Possibly many of you will have installed in your smartphones the so-called Custom ROMs or custom ROMs, ROMs created by third parties that introduce new features and advanced changes in our Android. GravityBox is probably the most popular module of all Xposed, being a complete suite for modifying and customizing the look of the mobile. You need to install the specific version for your version of Android.
Its strong point was – and is – in offering many customization options for the system, classified into categories, and compatible with a large number of devices. Not all tweaks They work on all systems, but with so many available, the more likely you are to find settings of your interest.

The method of installing Xposed Framework depends a lot on the Android version of the mobile, although generally you need to have root. The original and official version of Xposed is installed from Xposed Installer, being able to be executed directly from the interface or via the mode recovery. How to install GravityBox on your Android
There are many options to make this module work, although you essentially need Magisk v17 or higher, EdXposed and EdXposed Installer. Like the previous versions, it is intended for systems with a pure Android version or as close as possible to pure Android, and can cause problems with layers of customization like TouchWiz / One UI, HTC Sense, MIUI, Xperia, etc.
To get started, it is a good idea to enable »Unknown sources» on your device to allow the installation of third-party applications. To do this, open the Terminal Settings and go to the option “Security”. Once there, enable the switch next to “Unknown sources”. If you already had it activated before because you have installed other external files, obviously you can skip those instructions and pay attention to the following:
- Download the file GravityBox APK for Android from here and install it. Keep in mind to install the Xposed Installer or the Magisk app before.
- Once you have installed the app, you will receive a notification from the Xposed installer that “The Xposed module is not activated yet.” Just tap on that to head over to the Xposed modules section, and check the checkbox next to GravityBox . Once you have done that, restart your device to activate GravityBox.
- Once your device has rebooted, open the GravityBox app and grant the necessary permissions to ensure correct operation of the module. You will also get a warning notice, which says that GravityBox should be used only on unmodified Android devices. Just tap on “Ok I have it” to continue.
