Huawei has just presented its new proposals for the high-end: the Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+. While these have been the main protagonists at the hardware level, in regards to the software Huawei is getting into the sixth. Apart from betting on App Gallery as a store of applications, in addition to by own services for music, video and others, Huawei has surprised today showing your own assistantready to compete with Bixby Samsung, Assistant of Google and Apple’s Siri.
Although we will have to try it by ourselves to check if it is at the height of its rivals, Huawei has shown us the main benefits of ‘Celia’, your new voice assistant. Some aires are quite similar to those of Siri and a good range of possibilities, this is all that has to offer us.
If we leave the on/off button and hold for more than a second we will be able to summon Celia, but the most proactive way is to do it with a “Hey Celia,”. To activate it, we can start to interact with the wizard, the same dynamic of the rest of its competitors.
At the level of functions, Celia is in the line of their main rivals. We can tell him to do a call, tell us the weather, set reminders, etc. The commands are similar to those of any other wizard.
The calorie counting is one of the main benefits of Celia, integrated in the camera of Huawei. Just tell it to scan the calories in the food that we’re going to take and, if this is registered in the wizard, it will tell us how many calories there are. Another of the functions star is the translation. Celia is able to translate what you see through the camera.
In the same way, Celia has access to the music on the device, so that we can tell it to play songs. Another goodness is its integration with the shopping. We may ask you to buy what you’re seeing on the screen, a function, a priori, quite useful.
Also the wizard is integrated with system settings, so that we can tell it to put the mobile in silence, you open the setting you want or to do any type of configuration.
Finally, note that Celia is available in Spanish, so that we can enjoy the wizard in our language without any major problem. Yes, for the moment, is limited to the number P40, although it is expected to go coming to more devices.
