Google TV already has children’s profiles to control our children, first in the US

Google tv is beginning to introduce personalized profiles for children, so that parents can choose which applications they have access to, among others. The company just made it official on his blog, showing screenshots of how this mode will work.

The feature is starting to roll out for Chromecasts with Google TV and other devices with Google TV, first in the United States. However, Google ensures that global expansion will arrive in the next few months, so it is a matter of time before we receive this update in our territory.

Children’s profiles come to Google TV

Google has just announced the arrival of children’s profiles on Google TV. At the interface level, as with the current menus, rows of recommended programs will be displayed, but in this case appropriate and personalized for children. In the same way, we can share movies and series that we have purchased and are in our Google Play family library.

In addition to personalized recommendations for children, the daily time limits for these profiles arrive, as well as scheduling a time for them to go to bed. In this way we guarantee that they cannot watch television for more hours than necessary and that, when it is time to sleep, they cannot continue to watch content.

At the safety level, children will not have it easy to change the profile of children to the standard, since they will be protected by a PIN code. At the moment this function is coming to the United States, assuring Google that it will eventually expand globally.
