A host of new features will arrive watches with Wear OS 2.0 or higher that will make it easier to discover and install new compatible applications on our watches. Google did not want to wait for the launch Wear OS 3.0 to launch the ** renovation of the Play Store on Wear **.

The Play Store of our mobile improves the search for applications compatible with our watch. To do this, add new filters such as “Clock” or “Clock screens” to limit the search. Also the category “Wear OS” will allow us to discover the most popular applications.
But the most important novelty of the Play Store that will arrive in the next few days is that now we can install applications remotely to our watch from the mobile. Next to the ‘Install’ action, a drop-down will appear that allows us to select on which devices we want said application to be installed. So we can select to install it on our watch.
Google has made official the redesign that leaked a few weeks ago. The Play Store for Wear OS receives ‘Material You’, with a new interface, typography and navigation more simplified that better adapts to the small screen of our watch.
Another novelty is that now the integrated purchases Google Play will request that we continue with the process from our mobile to make it safer and easier to proceed with the payment.
All these novelties will reach our watches with Wear OS 2.X or higher in the next weeks
