Google messages allows you to add text to your photos before sending them

The application of Google Messages is kept up to date routinely with new functions. A few days ago was introduced as the possibility of using the messaging RCS in the same, with its official launch in Spain. The application now features a new function, which is available in its beta version. Thanks to it we are going to be able to edit the photos that we send.

This is not a photo editor, but we’re going to you can add text or draw on these photos. A function inspired by the one we have in Google Photos, only that in this case we will not have to resort to it, but that we may add to this text or drawing directly in Messages.

Draw or add text to your photos

When we go to send a message to someone, we can attach a photo in this message. In the new beta of Messages, attaching that image, when you click on it, to view it full-screen, we will have at the top an Edit button. It is when you click on this button when we’re going to have the possibility to edit it.

You are given two options, which you can use in both cases, you are adding a text, by writing what we want, or we can draw also in this photo. There are three types of brushes with different thickness and style, so that we can choose the one that best fit what we want. When you have completed the desired editing, you can click on save, for this version of the photo you are going to attach to this other person.

These options draw and text are the only we find for the time in Messages. The users that have the form part of the beta program of the application have already available this new version, where we can use this function.
