Google Maps will have a section to save all your routes

Despite the fact that Google Maps is no longer a mere navigation application for our cars, the reality is that the use of it as an alternative to GPS is increasing.

Within this use, Google is preparing a new function that will arrive in Spain and more countries in a few weeks, a section to manage our most frequent routes.

The Google Maps Trips tab disappears

The new tab, which is called Go In English, it will store the routes that we have calculated lately, with a special novelty: we can make these routes remain fixed to the tab, allowing them to be started easily with one click.

In this way, if we usually make a tour frequently, we can launch it from there. Some of you will think that if it is a frequent route it is not necessary to activate the route calculation but as always happens in Google Maps, this calculation takes into account the traffic so it is possible that a route with the same destination and purpose will take us along different paths depending on the day or time.

In addition, depending on our use, the application may suggest some trips, which we can save as we have commented.

This novelty will arrive in the coming weeks to all users, although it is possible that it will first be seen in the United States as is usually normal and then it will jump to Europe and other markets.

The Google Maps entry will have a section to save all your routes appears first in The Free Android.
