This year there will not be any form of the conference for developers more important to Google. If a few weeks ago it is also the edition physical the Google I/O 2020 now cancel the virtual event they were going to acelebrar on the same dates.
To #GoogleIO update: Out of concern for the health and safety of our developers, employees, and local communities — and in line with “shelter in place” requirements by the local Bay Area government — we sadly will not be holding an I/O event in any capacity this year. (1/3)

As in Spain and other countries of the world, in the Bay Area of San Francisco has also been declared a quarantinewith Google to protect the health of all its workers, has decided to completely cancel the I/O 2020 to avoid unnecessary travel. The event is not urgent in the current situation and can be expected to be held next year.
Because of the concern for the health and safety of our developers, employees and local communities, and in order with the quarantine requirements of the local government Area of the Bay of San Francisco, unfortunately we will not be doing any event of I/O 2020 during this year.
At this time, the most important thing we can do is focus our attention on helping people with the new challenges that confront us all. We will continue doing everything possible to help our communities to stay safe, informed, and connected.
Keep in mind that we remain committed to sharing ongoing updates on Android with you through our blogs and developer forums of the community.
This does not mean that during may, or the next few months we will not have news of the news of the Pixel 4a, Android, Assistant, Google Maps, and cia. Google will continue to announcing their news via their blogs and forums as well as in the rest of the year. Just that there will be no video conferencing or special sessions.
If everything goes as planned and the situation is improving, the next Google event would be after summer, between September and November with the celebration of the event “Made by Google” for the presentation of the new devices Google Pixel 5 and company.
