Google Fit is updated with videos for exercise

One of the consequences of confinement that we have lived in many countries, Spain among them, is the difficulty of the exercise by not being able to leave the house. Gradually these measures will be relaxing in some places but still it is good to be prepared, and be able to move even without stepping on the street.

A few months ago, Google updated its Fitness app, Google Fit, to enhance certain sections, such as those that invite us to move in and spend the day more actively. Today comes a new update on the listed videos for the first time in the application.

This update to the app includes some selected videos of YouTube where he shows us how we can exercise without having to leave home.

This is part of a campaign of collaboration between Google, the american Heart Association and the WHO. Under the motto Stay Fit #WithMe the company seeks to encourage the exercise with an application installed on many mobile phones.

In the application we will have a new section with several categories of sports and exercises. If you click on top of one of them will open listas YouTube which collect different exercises of that topic. Obviously to do this we will need to have installed the YouTube app but, taking into account, which comes standard on the vast majority of Android mobile, this does not seem to be a problem.

The only limitation is that this function will not be active in countries that do not have lists of YouTube. Luckily, in Spain and Latin america, this function takes a lot of time active.

The entry Google Fit is updated with videos to make exercise it appears first on The Android Free.
