Google Discover now uses tags

The latest update of this application integrated in most Android mobiles has added a new way of navigating between different news, labels, hashtags that are used massively on social networks such as Twitter.

That element appears, as you

can see in the images, at the bottom of each news item, just below the image and the text. Sometimes there is a single tag although in others you can see several, always related to the subject of the article.

For now it is a feature that only some users have been able to see so it is possible that Google is doing A / B tests in which it uses different elements for different groups of users and studies what works best.

Hopefully soon this feature will reach the whole world, and that in more countries paid news can be accessed from Discover as it already happens in some places.
