Weeks ago we can see how Gmail is starting to integrate with other Google apps on Android. First came the video to the email app, a feature that is available in Spain also. In addition, a couple of weeks ago showed that the application was going to have chat conversations also.
It seems that this integration will be even bigger, because is currently working on a redesign of Gmail. The application will change aspect and will serve as a productivity suite, in the same we are going to meet with e-mail, chat conversations, Google Meet, and also with Rooms (halls).

Gmail is preparing for big changes
You can see the early shots of how it’ll look Gmail with this new design, integrating these with other applications or tools of Google in it. At the bottom of the application, we find a menu where we can pass between functions or sections in the application. The already mentioned e-mail, Chat Rooms, and Meet.
The tab Rooms is on paper the more unknownbut it makes one think that Google will leave us with a function is inspired by applications such as Slack. It will have rooms where they would carry out projects or specific topics, that you can share with other classmates. Surely this function is to synchronize with G Suite.
In the tab Chat will be integrated Hangouts Chatalthough this is a function of which I already spoke recently, so there seems to be more news about the same. We can have a chat-individual and group with our contacts thanks to it. In the last tab is the integration with Google Meet, that is the one that gives access to features such as video calls within Gmail.
It is expected that next week let’s go to know more about these changes in Gmail for Android, as it celebrates the event Google Cloud Next, OnAir, where there will be new signing, among them the new design and features that will enter into your mail application.
