Epic Games just give up the fight that he had against Google for famous 30% commission charged by the app stores. While the developer is resigned to pay that commission in the Apple App Store, Android jumped this commission launching Fortnite from outside the Play Store.
Well, 18 months later, the famous battle royale Fortnite arrives officially to Google Playaccepting fees from Google, which are the same that any developer agree to publish in the Play Store. Google does not make exceptions.
Epic Games recognizes that they changed “everything” due to the disadvantages who has been suffering Fortnite to be published from outside the Play Store. The developer blames Google Play Protect, with the excuse that the safety blocks the software from unknown sources to avoid malware that penalizes your downloads.
It is true that not everyone knows how to install applications from outside Google Play. Install and configure the installer Fortnite was something that threw back to many users with less expertise, notably by the fear to be downloading some installer not official. Now you will be able to download Fortnite more comfortably and with greater safety from the Play Store.
