One of the less known and most useful applications of Google is Files. This application, which is a fairly conventional file manager, has been updated lately with quite important news, such as the inclusion of a secure folder to protect our documents.
Now the app is updated again not with one, but with two new functions that will delight both those who use it to manage work files and those who use it for leisure.
How to open and edit PDF files on your Android mobile without installing applicationsAndroid is a complete system with millions of apps available, but you don’t need anything, apart from what you have on your mobile, to open and edit PDFs.
Files from Google now open PDFs
This file and document manager has improved being able to open PDF files without relying on external applications.
Of course, as in most apps, we can only view it and expand the content, nothing to edit it for now.
Modifying the speed of the videos
The other improvement is related to multimedia playback. This application can open video files since its launch but now we can control the speed of their playback.
For this we have to open the video in question, click on the icon in the upper left corner, the one with the three dots, and select Playback Speed.
We can make it go more Quick, multiplying the speed by two, or more slow, dividing it by the same number. They are not the only options and we can make increments of 0.1 units in each direction.
Version 1.0.33 is the one that includes these improvements and is already in the Google Play Store, from where you can download it for free regardless of the Android mobile you have. Of course, you may have to wait a few days before the options appear since there are users who are not shown at the moment.
