Facebook has launched this Thursday a desktop application Messenger, its popular messaging service, to Windows and macOS with a great attraction, taking into account the global situation: chats and group video calls.
Without referring specifically to the pandemic of disease, coronavirus, the company stresses that “now more than ever” the people we use technology to keep in touch with the people that matter to us, “even when they are physically separated”, and what have you noticed in your statistics.
“During the past month, we saw an increase of over 100 % in the number of people using the browser of your desktop to make audio and video calls in Messenger”, they explain. A feature that now comes to Messenger applications for Windows and macOS released to the global level.
