One of the services most used of Google is one that sometimes goes very unnoticed. You will be surprised, or maybe not, to know the amount of people that are informed through the news that will appear in Discover of Google, the section that have many mobile phones on the left side of the desks.

This section is usually renewed from time to time including some minor changes, but now we are at the gates of an important one.

Although it is something that Google has been working for many months, it is now when some users are starting to see a new section in Discover called Stories, or Histories.

In it we see news presented in the same way that they do the Stories of Instagram, that is to say, in vertical format and a horizontal scroll to see more.

These news stories appear in a section integrated between the normal result, with an icon that represents the media that publishes in the top left and the title at the bottom, next to the name of the medium.

Unlike in Instagram, do not seem to have to do anything to create those publications expressed, but that Google formats the news to be presented as well.

When you click on top see a larger image, the text summary at the bottom, and two icons at the top, one to share the news and other to get more information.

If you click on any part that are not sos icons will go directly to read the article in question.

We don’t know if this test that is already performing Google will reach all users soon, but everything points to that will be the case given that the format Storie that he invented Snapchat and popularized Instagram seems destined to be ubiquitous.

The entry Discover wants to be like Instagram: you will also have stories appearing first on The Android Free.
