Chrome OS improves its tablet mode with the gestures of Android 10

A couple of years ago, with the launch of the Pixel Slate, Google made it clear that Chrome OS turned on your system opertivo for laptops, convertibles, and tabletsleaving all these years, totally abandoned the version for tablets Android.

Now the version of Android for tablets is Chrome OSboth operating systems share compatibility with existing applications and games from Google Play, interface, Material Design, and from now on the gestures. Chrome OS implements the gestures of Android 10.


The gestures of Android coming to Chrome OS

To enhance the tablet mode of the ChromebooksGoogle has implemented in its latest version** new gestures** to facilitate touch navigation, especially if you’re already using an Android phone 10. The gestures are the following:

  • For access to the home screen the tablet mode will have to swipe from the bottom of the screen upwards.

  • For see the open applications there will be slide from the bottom of the screen towards the middle of the screen.

  • To return back now you can do this by sliding from the left side of the screen.

  • For open the app drawer now you have to swipe from the bottom of the home screen.

The Chrome browser also fits the tablets

Google also updated the browser Chrome to improve its interface for tablets. Now allows you to open a new tab with a large button, you can reorder the tabs by dragging-and-close tabs by sliding upwards.
