Bugs in Windows 11 builds will increase when testing of the 22H2 branch begins and Microsoft is already warning

Microsoft launched in the gates of summer Windows 11, the new operating system of the firm that you can already try in development channels and even downloading the corresponding ISO images. A Windows 11 that is in the testing phase and that Microsoft is now warning about, compilations with more bugs will arrive.

Until now, it must be taken into account that, despite being in development (Windows 11 is a beta, it is a fairly stable operating system that can be used on a day-to-day basis without problem. Something that may change at the end of the year, when Microsoft starts testing the 22H2 branch of Windows 11.

More errors preparing branch 21H2

The reason why errors can be increased is logical and understandable. And it is that if until now Microsoft had us used to two big updates a year (spring and autumn) and other minors throughout the year, with Windows 11 they will focus on a “single big update” and other minor ones.

In this way and when Windows 11 is released in October 2021 (it is branch 21H1), Microsoft will start work on branch 22H2 which should arrive at the end of 2022, so given that there will be enough left for its launch, it is very possible that it offers more failures than we are finding so far.

In fact, They are notifying members of the Insider Program by email in which they warn of the risks of executing the compilations of the Dev Channel, warning that compilations with more errors will arrive from the next version of Windows 11 and incidentally recommending users to leave the Channel of if they only want to try the first version of Windows 11.

In this sense, Microsoft will use the Dev Channel to test experimental functions and will leave the Beta Channel for the next stable release called Windows 11. So far, both channels are related to the version that will be released at the end of the year and for now they offer access to Build 22000.160.
