BQ sold 51% of its capital to Vingroup in December of 2018, a move that did win to the vietnamese company research and product development for the Spanish. After the purchase we did not see mobile BQ, although the company seems to not have forgotten the of the latest proposals released to the market.

The BQ Aquaris X2 and X2 Pro were bets most powerful of BQ to try and win in the mid-range. Two mobile betting by solvent processors for Qualcomm, good autonomy and a experience clean software. Went to market with Android Oreo (Android One), were updated to Android Foot and two years later they begin to receive Android 10, if and when we inscribe in the beta program.

It is not often that the mid-range of 2018 to upgrade to the latest version of Android and a lot less if the company behind the terminals is no longer being made. However, BQ has made official the beta program of Android 10 for Aquaris X2 and X2 Pro.

The beta will be downloaded via OTA, so that we don’t have to sign up and wait for the update. Yes, places are limited

To enroll in this program involves downloading a beta version which, according to BQ, it may not be 100% stable. However, it is the best way to test as soon as possible the new version of Android. In the same way the seats are limited, so if you’re interested it is best to apply as soon as possible. Once we enter in the beta program we will receive an update via OTA (like any other) and we can update our device.

BQ indicates that the firmware end not take too long to come out so, if we are not willing to take a chance with the beta, we can continue waiting for the final version, which should not be delayed too much. In the same way, this update serves to put back on the table that the program Android One does not imply rapid updatessince it is the manufacturer that should work in the update and provide the OTA.
