One of the most recent features to come to Google Arts & Culture, which is set to be a hit with app users. Thanks to the so-called Art Filter, you can turn your selfie into a work of art, with works known as self-portraits of Van Gogh or Frida Kahlo, among others. The steps to use this function are:
- Open the app on your phone.
- Tap on the rainbow camera icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Art Filter.
- You accept.
- Select the filter you want to use on your photo.
- Click on Apply filter.
- Wait for the final result of that photo to be displayed.
If you like that photo, you can share it with friends by messaging, using the share option that is given on the screen. You can send it by WhatsApp, Telegram or social networks, as well as Gmail.
Turn your house into a museum
The Pocket Gallery feature in Google Arts & Culture is a way to transform your living room into a museum and thus be able to discover the most interesting works of art in the world. Thanks to the augmented reality of Google, we can see works of art on the walls of our house in a simple way, as we already showed you. In this option there are a series of options, to see certain museums or galleries. To use it, follow these steps:

- Select the Pocket Gallery option.
- Aim for a well-lit wall.
- Select which building you want to see.
- Move around that gallery.
Transform photos into art with Google Arts & Culture
Another function that was made official this year in the app, which we have talked about previously, and which is another one that users like the most. The Art Transfer function will allow your photos to turn into paintings, adapting the particular style of known works of art. Since we can choose between artists such as Monet, Da Vinci, Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Munch, Frida Kahlo, Chagall or Cézanne in this function, so you will be able to create all kinds of images.
- Open Google Arts & Culture on your phone.
- Click on the camera icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose the Art Transfer option.
- Take a photo or upload one from your gallery.
- Choose which artist you want to look like.
