The beta versions of WhatsApp often throw you clues about the news that we find on the stable version of the application, which is used for the bulk user. This morning we saw that WhatsApp has begun to limit the forwarding of messages to a single chat with a reason to fight against the misinformation and the protagonists of the evening are new features for the application, as counted in XDA Developers.
In particular, we talk about three new very interesting: advanced search file, key security to backups, and rules for the files that are downloaded automatically.
The latest beta points to three developments
The first novelty filtered refers to the advanced file search. This function would allow us to search for audios, links, GIFs, photos, videos and documents in a simple way from a chat, with a dedicated interface to do so. Each type of file would be split with different color labelsso to make it more easy to know what we’re downloading exactly.
The second novelty refers to the password to protect the backups. Currently, we can retrieve any backup of Google Drive if you have logged on to WhatsApp. The new version of the application, according to this information, will allow to put a password to wrap the data from this backup, and make it necessary to enter it to download them, even though we logged on with our number in WhatsApp.
Finally, it speaks of the rules for automatic downloads. The same has happened with the forwarding of messages, this function would be designed to do not download the content of forwarded messages often.
