Samsung continues to make progress in updating its mobile phones to Android 11. It is doing it faster than in other years, at least in Spain, but that does not mean that there are brands like Vivo, which take the lead in the mid-range.
So far the Korean manufacturer has only updated high-end models such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 or the S20, including the S20 FE. And the model that is updated now is not an exception since we are talking about Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
Samsung launched in 2020 two foldable vertical format models, the Galaxy Z Flip and the 5G variant, which is the one that is now updated to Android 11.
The version has the build number F707BXXU1CTL6 and the security patch for December. As always, this update is gradual and although it is already reaching some European markets, it may take us a while to see it in Spain.
In addition to the latest version of Google’s operating system and the security patch, Samsung has also brought to this model One UI 3.0, the latest version of its interface, at least until the Galaxy S21 that will come in a few weeks theory, with One UI 3.1.
If you don’t know what is new in One UI 3.0, the best thing you can do is review this article that we published when the software was launched.
The Android 11 entry comes to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G with One UI 3.0 appears first in The Free Android.
