Amazfit launched its new bracelet in Spain a few weeks ago, the Amazfit Band 5. It is a proposal designed for those who want something cheap but do not want to do without practically anything.
What’s more, it is one of the few smart bracelets with a voice assistant.

A design that sounds a lot to us
Surely more than one has looked at the Amazfit Band 5 and remembered the latest Xiaomi bracelet. They are very similar products aesthetically, and that means that this smartband has a central core where the technology is housed and a silicone strap that we can change.
The screen looks good outdoors, although you have to raise the brightness, which indoors is enough to set it to 60%.
We can change the covers, and even customize some of them by choosing what data we want to have at a glance. In the mobile control app we can download many more.
Quantifying everything quantifiable
This bracelet, like most similar bracelets, is capable of counting the steps we take, the calories we consume or the sport we do.
In addition, it includes an oxygen saturation meter, a heart rate and is able to tell us if we have slept well. And no, we won’t have to charge it at night because the battery lasts us two weeks. Or more.
Many of the options are controlled through the touch screen but we also have functions to activate in the Zepp application interface. Yes, the same one used by the Zepp E.
This is undoubtedly one of the most striking sections of this product, along with the integration of a voice assistant.
Using Alexa on the bracelet
As we have commented, one of the biggest novelties of this bracelet is the compatibility with the Amazon assistant. For this we have to link our Alexa account with the bracelet, through the Zepp application.
Once done, we can slide from right to left to launch the voice commands. At the moment it is in English, although the company has already confirmed that support for Spanish will arrive very soon.

In summary, we are facing a proposal that does not differ much from others on the market in aesthetics, finishes or in health control functions. Of course, the autonomy is very good and the fact of having Alexa promises to be differential.
We will have to wait to be able to use it in Spanish to recommend the purchase of this device for that reason, but taking into account the rest of the functions, it is not a bad way to enter the world of personal quantification.
