Samsung is one of the brands that is updating the most mobiles in Spain to Android 11, and beyond the Android version, it continues to improve its mobiles with new features of the One UI customization layer.
When the South Korean manufacturer began to update its phones to Android 11, it did so under the One UI 3.0 version, while the Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra arrived with One UI 3.1. Although this version continues to take the same version of Android, it includes specific news that several Samsung phones are now receiving.
One UI 3.1 began its rollout shortly after the launch of the Galaxy S21. The Galaxy Tab S7 was the first to receive these improvements with its update to Android 11, shortly after it began to be deployed in the Galaxy S20 FE and now it comes by surprise to several company phones. Samsung has indicated that as of today a large number of models, with a date that may vary depending on the region and operators. Specifically, the update reaches:
The first improvement is in the photo mode known as Single Capture. This mode is capable of capturing all kinds of images and videos for a maximum time of 15 seconds and receives improvements with One UI 3.1, although Samsung has not specified much what they are.
In photography we also receive the feature to erase people and objects from the photos that we already saw in the Galaxy S21.
The camera app also receives improved controls for autofocus and exposure controls, as well as a better professional video recording mode. If already with One UI 2.5 Samsung introduced the possibility of recording with external microphones, now we can record the sound of our Bluetooth device and that captured by the mobile microphones at the same time, being one more tool for your creativity when recording.
One of my favorite features of the Galaxy S21 comes with One UI 3.1, which is the adaptive eye protector. It is a smarter implementation of the well-known blue light filter, but it dynamically adapts depending on the time of day. It is very smart, less brusque and now available for a lot of mobiles.
With One UI 3.1 we also get private sharing mode. This mode is used so that when we share a photo, One UI removes its metadata and location information so that no one can obtain data from that image.
Although Samsung has not specified it, it is expected that with One UI 3.1 you will receive the native home automation controls of Android 11, as well as Google Discover on the home screen, a feature that we will not be able to know if it is until it is deployed on mobile phones.
The entry All these Samsung phones are receiving One UI 3.1 with the improvements of the Galaxy S21 appears first in The Free Android.
